For me Thanksgiving has always been all about family. Until I was 19 years old all but a couple Thanksgivings were spent in Maine at my grandparents house. I still get a little nostalgic and honestly sad because we no longer go up to Maine. I have a big group of cousins as well as my sisters who would all hang out every year while the moms helped cook and the dads would watch the Cowboys game. I will never forget those special memories but in a positive light I can now create new memories and traditions with my son.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to take a moment and reflect on the things you are most grateful and thankful for. I do keep a journal and occasionally keep a super short gratitude portion but his one i want to go a little bit deeper than the everyday list.
What would be on your list? let me know in the comments I can't wait to hear! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I'm Ashley a stay at home mom to my sweet boy Keigan and married to the love of my life Brandon. When I'm not blogging you can catch me chasing keigan around, scrapbooking or snuggling on the couch with hubby.
